At Education World we follow the good practice as advised by the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) to ensure that we are meeting the highest recruitment standards when working with our partner schools. Recently the REC education sector has undergone extensive research which underlines the importance of recruitment agencies to schools and academies throughout the UK.
As members Education World have contributed to this research by sharing practical examples of the benefits of some of our working partnerships but please see the blogs attached to read this research as well as other very useful information including ‘How are schools dealing with teacher shortages’.
Whether you are a supply teacher or representing a school, this link has many useful tools. We would also recommend; ‘AWR 2010 for Supply Teachers – REC guide’ and ‘Putting Pupils First’ their guide for education providers. It provides clarity on the laws regulating education agencies and what an education provider can expect from their agency.
