We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for a Communication Support Worker to join our dedicated, growing team within the Inclusion Department here at Education World. This is a specialist and varied role where you will contribute to the provision of an outstanding additional support service for D/deaf learners. We work with many schools and colleges across the North East to provide support for all learners.
As a Communication Support Worker, you will provide appropriate non-teaching support to our D/deaf learners both within and outside the curriculum, provide communication support to access wider college services and activities and assist the Senior Communication Support Worker to provide D/deaf Awareness training and guidance.
You should have previous experience of working with D/deaf BSL users and would ideally have a BSL qualification.
