School Details:
This is a school very closely linked with its local community. Currently recently graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted It is a comparatively small secondary school, and is part of a growing multi academy trust. The school has been described by supply staff as being supportive and friendly. It is fair to say that it can have occasional challenges in terms of pupil behaviour, but by and large the behaviour isn’t a major issue and the internal support is excellent if behaviour support is required. The school have benefitted in recent years from having appointed a skilled and dedicated senior leadership team.

Vacancy Details:

Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum
Plan, organize, and provide instruction in a manner that meets the needs of all students
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
Assess and evaluate student progress, maintain accurate and complete records, and prepare reports on student performance
Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators
Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and stakeholders to improve instructional practices and student outcomes

Skills, Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Valid teaching certification or license
Proven experience as a teacher or student teaching experience
Knowledge of relevant technology tools and platforms for instructional purposes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment
Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with diverse student populations
