Learning Support Assistant – 1:1 Support
A passionate Primary School in West Northumberland (Hexham, Prudhoe, Stocksfield) is looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to support their students. This role can involve working 1:1 with children, some of which have Special Education Needs (SEN).

Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will include but not be limited to:
- Working with targeted students in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2 on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting targeted students 1:1, in class and in small groups
- Open to experienced Graduates and qualified Teaching Assistants
- Term time only, Monday – Friday
- 8:30 – 16:00
The ideal candidate for this Learning Support Assistant position will have the following:
- Hold a degree from a reputable UK University or education based experience
- Strong academic background (GCSEs and A Levels)
- Experience working with children and young people with SEN – either professional or personal
- Experience of working within a similar environment or with children is essential
- A strong passion for working with children and young people
