Graham Simms
Managing Director
I’ve been part of Education World since 2008, and I’m proud to lead the business as Managing Director. It has been fantastic to see how far we’ve come, building on our North East roots and extending our support to schools and education professionals in London through Blue Skies Education. For me, strong relationships have always been at the heart of what we do. Understanding what a school needs, helping someone find the right opportunity and delivering on our promises are what build trust over time. I’m fortunate to work alongside a fantastic team of consultants and support colleagues who share those principles and care about the people we work with. I’m excited about what we can continue to achieve together. As we develop the business, my focus is on supporting our people, strengthening our partnerships and ensuring the service we provide makes a positive difference to schools, education professionals and, ultimately, the children and young people they support.
Andrew Hutchinson
Head of EW North
Hello I am Andrew and an Education World veteran. I have worked for the company since November 2014 and it’s been quite a journey. I started in a very small office of 4 employees, so its very exciting to see where the company is today with multiple UK offices and close to 30 employees. Initially I was a recruitment consultant running a very successful desk looking after predominately primary schools for a number of years. I took on management responsibilities in 2019 where I continued to run a desk and manage a team of consultants in the North East. My desk continued to grow and so did the team achieving great results year on year. In 2022, I took the difficult decision to give up my desk and focus solely on managing. I now manage Education World North sales teams across Gateshead, Durham, Nottingham & Derbyshire as well as our EWRS team. I look forward to the continued success and growth of these teams into the next few years.
