Early Years Practitioner – Gateshead
Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time

Education World is currently recruiting for qualified Early Years Practitioners to work across a range of nursery and primary school settings in Gateshead.

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you may be working within a private nursery or a primary school early years setting, supporting children through their early development and learning.
You will:
- Provide high-quality care, support and education for children aged 0–5.
- Support children's learning through engaging, age-appropriate activities and play.
- Follow the EYFS framework and contribute to children's learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Work effectively as part of a wider early years team.
Requirements
- A relevant Early Years qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years.
- Previous experience working with children in an early years or primary setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Paediatric First Aid is preferable, but not essential.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS.
Flexible Working Hours
