Meet the Team
My name is Richard and I lead on the permanent sales at Education World. I have been in Education in a variety of roles for 15 years now and started as a sports coach apprentice in a Northumberland school. I have since gone to qualify as a teacher, and worked my way through the ranks over the past 10 years. My last school-based role seen me lead a school as Headteacher of a South London primary School. I have recently joined Education World and look forward to working in line with the company values to ensure we place the very best teachers into schools both in the UK and overseas. Like many, I am passionate that children are taught by the best calibre of teacher possible and will do all I can to ensure EW supports schools in finding the very best teachers out there.
I’m Lauren, former teacher and school leader now working as a recruitment specialist at Education World. I’ve been fortunate enough to have teaching experience both nationally and internationally, and in a variety of roles including assistant headship, teaching and learning lead, curriculum developer and mentor. Having spent sixteen years in schools, I am now helping to place excellent teachers into permanent roles across the UK.
My search for excellence doesn’t stop in the UK, I regularly recruit high performing teachers from overseas who can impact our education system, along with providing invaluable global and cultural awareness. I am truly passionate about supporting others and ensuring that children are being taught to the highest standards possible.
Hi, I’m Chris, Compliance Officer and the office’s biggest Newcastle United fan (self-proclaimed).
As a qualified primary teacher with previous experience in education recruitment, I know the importance of ensuring our schools are safe and welcoming places, offering quality education to each pupil that walks through the door. My role allows me to support outstanding candidates with their career journey, providing guidance and support which ultimately produces opportunities to work with our fantastic schools across the UK.

Richard leads our permanent recruitment team at Education World, bringing over 15 years of experience in education. Richard a former Headteacher of a primary school in South London has an extensive background in which education gives him unique insight into what makes a great teacher - and how to support them in finding the right role.
