Job Title:             Teacher of Computer Science

The school is based not far from the town of Hucknall in Nottinghamshire.  The school has some excellent benefits, including working in an inclusive, friendly environment with supportive colleagues.  It is a medium sized secondary school, and is currently graded as 'Good' by Ofsted.   

Vacancy Details

To teach Computer Science on a full time basis to KS3 pupils.  To perform engaging and challenging lessons and to continue the departments excellent exam results.  There may also be the need to provide cover in ad hoc lessons throughout all departments in the school, as well as to take on the responsibility of a form / tutor group.

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science to secondary or further education level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Organisational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and student assessments.
  • Complete registration with Education World and be vetted and safeguard checked accordingly
  • Hold a current DBS
  • Be able to obtain references covering a minumum of the last two years
