How do I become a supply teacher/teaching assistant with Education World?
It's simple! Give us a call and we'll quickly put you through to a consultant who can help. Alternatively, send your CV and a covering letter to Whether you teach primary, secondary, SEND, early years or coach extracurricular activities, we have a consultant who specialises in your area and will be keen to find out more about you and what we can do to help you along your supply journey. As long as you're a suitable candidate, we'll invite you in to register with us and to start the safeguarding and clearance processes. Once these essential checks are completed, you're good to go!

What checks does Education World carry out on new candidates?
All new candidates are interviewed face-to-face by one of our consultants at our office. We'll check your proofs of address and ID, right to work in the UK, qualifications, DBS and Update Service, NI, CV history, obtain two references and ask you to complete medical declaration. 

What documents do I need to bring with me for registration?
On the day of your registration, please bring the following documents along with you:

What if I don't have a DBS check or my current one is out of date?
Don't panic! We'd be happy to help you fill out an application form for a new DBS check. We’ll also tell you all about the 'Update Service' you can subscribe to for an annual fee of £13, meaning you may never have to apply for a new disclosure again. Happy days!
