I have 8 years’ experience in customer services and administration across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, utilities and education. I joined Education World in February 2019 as the sole compliance officer and as the company grew became the Compliance Manager responsible for the oversight of our stringent compliance procedures and a team of compliance officers. In 2023, I made the move into systems, IT and data.

I joined Education World in September 2019 as Compliance Officer, working on the clearance of our Teachers, TAs and Support Staff. I began my career in recruitment in the industrial and commercial sector while obtaining my Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration. After completing my apprenticeship in 2017, I moved into education recruitment where I started working in compliance.

Since joining Education World, I have watched our company grow from strength to strength. It’s a real privilege to be part of such a dedicated and hardworking team, committed to finding the right partnerships for our staff and schools. 

In 2024, I was thrilled to be promoted to Compliance Team Leader, now looking after compliance for our Education and Industrial sectors. I am so pleased to be working with both of these teams, ensuring compliance is at the highest standard and our processes within our organisation are streamlined.

Hiya, I'm Jem. I joined Education World as a Compliance Officer after working as a Principal Recruitment Consultant for nearly 3 years supporting multiple clients across SEN, PRI and EYFS sectors. Coming from a recruitment role has given me the ability to merge into the Compliance team here at Education World without a hiccup and I am thrilled to be an integral part of a candidates journey and support them in being cleared for work so our consultants can place them with one of our brilliant schools across the UK. Originally from a business travel customer service background, I joined EW in Jan 2022 and made the move into Finance. Since joining the team, I have enjoyed learning all aspects of Finance and working with a great group of people. I can assist with timesheets, invoices, and payroll enquires.

I joined Education World in September 2019 as Compliance Officer, working on the clearance of our Teachers, TAs and Support Staff.
