My name is Richard and I lead on the permanent sales at Education World. I have been in Education in a variety of roles for 15 years now and started as a sports coach apprentice in a Northumberland school. I have since gone to qualify as a teacher, and worked my way through the ranks over the past 10 years. My last school-based role seen me lead a school as Headteacher of a South London primary School. I have recently joined Education World and look forward to working in line with the company values to ensure we place the very best teachers into schools both in the UK and overseas. Like many, I am passionate that children are taught by the best calibre of teacher possible and will do all I can to ensure EW supports schools in finding the very best teachers out there.

Hello, I'm Samantha!

My journey in education began in 2007 within nursery and primary settings, where I immersed myself in the dynamic world of EYFS Education. Transitioning to the independent school sector in 2016, I found my niche within Reception Class at an all-girls pre-prep school. From there, my passion for nurturing young minds led me to the role of Deputy Manager at an onsite nursery, where I thrived in supporting early years development. During my tenure, I undertook the HLTA diploma, further solidifying my qualifications and commitment to excellence in education. Concurrently, I embarked on a full-time BSc journey in Child Psychology and Primary Education, driven by a fervent desire to understand the intricate nuances of child development and pedagogy. Following this I ascended to the role of Manager at a startup nursery, where I contributed to its growth and success through strategic vision and operational excellence. Driven by a desire to make a broader impact, I ventured into the realm of recruitment, leveraging my deep understanding of educational environments to support Schools, Trust, Groups, and Settings for over four years. At Education World, I'm responsible for the division dedicated to empowering UK teachers in discovering their next career move. Here I hope to bridge the gap between exceptional educators and the schools and trusts seeking their invaluable expertise. By understanding the unique needs and aspirations of both teachers and educational institutions, I am committed to facilitating seamless connections that foster growth, learning, and mutual success.
