Education World Teams Up with Treeapp to Restore Indonesia’s Mangroves

We’re excited to announce that Education World is partnering with Treeapp, a global tree-planting organisation, to help make the world a little greener.

As part of Juhler Group’s Plant a Tree Campaign, we’re taking an active role in promoting sustainability, supporting local communities, and making a positive impact on the environment.

For every candidate we place, Education World will plant one tree. This is our way of giving back to the planet and helping restore vital ecosystems - starting with the beautiful mangrove forests of Indonesia.

Why Focus on Indonesia’s Mangroves?

Treeapp is an organisation that’s dedicated to planting trees all over the world, with over 200 species spread across five continents. What makes them stand out is their commitment to working with local farmers and communities, ensuring that their projects create real, lasting change. Their efforts have even caught the attention of Sir David Attenborough!

We’re proud to be part of Juhler Group’s wider initiative, collaborating with such a forward-thinking group to make sure our tree-planting efforts have the biggest possible impact.

Why Focus on Indonesia’s Mangroves?

Indonesia is home to some of the richest biodiversity on the planet, but it’s facing a big challenge. In the last 30 years, over 40% of the country’s mangrove forests have been lost, which has led to flooding, land erosion, and damage to local wildlife.

This is where Education World and Treeapp come in. Together, we’re focused on helping to restore these crucial mangrove forests. Not only do mangroves provide a home for hundreds of species of birds and marine life, but they also protect coastal communities from flooding and erosion. By planting trees here, we’re supporting the environment and helping the people who depend on it.

Why Mangroves Matter

Mangroves aren’t just trees - they’re one of the most important ecosystems on Earth. They store more carbon per unit area than any other ecosystem, making them a powerful tool in the fight against climate change. On top of that, they act as natural shields, protecting coastlines from storms and erosion.

By planting mangroves, Education World is helping to preserve biodiversity and support local communities. It’s not just about planting trees - it’s about making a difference.

Treeapp’s Unique Approach

What we love about Treeapp is their hands-on approach to working with local communities. They don’t just plant trees - they work directly with local farmers and NGOs to make sure their efforts are sustainable and have a lasting impact.

By partnering with them, Education World is ensuring that our tree-planting projects make a real difference where it’s needed most. This partnership is kicking off with the planting of 37,338 trees in a private forest in Indonesia - just the beginning of what we hope will be an even bigger effort.

Looking Ahead: A Greener Future with Education World

At Education World, we’re all about making a positive impact, and this partnership with Treeapp is just one way we’re giving back to the planet. Through Juhler Group’s Plant a Tree Campaign, we’re excited to help restore mangrove forests, protect local wildlife, and support the communities that rely on these vital ecosystems.

Every tree we plant brings us one step closer to a greener, more sustainable future. And we’re just getting started!
