Red Sky 2024 Wrap Up

A look back on our year of fundraising for our 2024 corporate charity partner.

At Education World, we believe in making a difference beyond the classroom. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with the amazing Red Sky Foundation as our corporate charity in 2024. Their mission to promote heart health, provide life-saving equipment, and educate communities aligns perfectly with our values, and we were determined to raise as much as possible to support their incredible work.

By the end of the year, through a mix of creative fundraising efforts, team challenges, and generous corporate donations, we were proud to raise £4,188. This achievement reflects not just the hard work of our team but also the generosity of our community and the vital importance of Red Sky Foundation’s mission.

Who Are Red Sky Foundation?

Red Sky Foundation is a life-changing organisation focused on promoting heart health and saving lives. They work tirelessly to:

  • Educate children and communities about how to care for their hearts and respond to emergencies.

  • Provide life-saving defibrillators in schools, community centres, and public spaces, ensuring people have access to vital equipment.

  • Support children and adults living with heart conditions, helping them lead healthier, more confident lives.

Their work doesn’t just save lives. It creates safer communities. By partnering with them, we’ve had the privilege of contributing to a cause that truly makes a difference.

In 2024, our team came together in countless ways to support Red Sky Foundation, combining creativity, community spirit, and a bit of healthy competition to hit our fundraising target. Here’s a look at some of the highlights.

  • Richard tackled the Southampton Marathon
  • Andrew conquered the Yorkshire Marathon
  • Lauras son Zak smashed the Mini Great North Run.
  • Raffles
  • Bake sales
  • Sports sweepstake
  • and our Wear Red Day.

These challenges and events weren’t just about raising money. They were a great way to highlight the importance of heart health, a message close to Red Sky Foundation’s mission, and created plenty of opportunities to get involved. Every activity, big or small, contributed to this achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of the outcome.

One of the most memorable moments of the year was when Sergio, founder of Red Sky Foundation visited us for an educational day. We learned all about the incredible work the charity does and even had the chance to practise CPR. This hands-on experience not only brought us closer to the cause but also gave us valuable life-saving skills that could make a difference in our own communities.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Looking back at 2024, we’re incredibly proud of everything we achieved for Red Sky Foundation. It wasn’t just about raising money. It was about coming together as a team and a community to support a cause that saves lives.

Whether you donated, participated in an event, or simply cheered us on, your support has been invaluable. Special thanks go to Sergio and the team at Red Sky for inspiring us and showing us the power of education and action in saving lives.

Together, we proved that with passion, teamwork, and a shared goal, we can achieve incredible things. Here’s to continuing our commitment to making a difference to our communities in 2025!
