The Role
As a Business Teacher, you will:
- Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Plan and deliver high-quality Business lessons that challenge, inspire, and engage learners.
- Foster a passion for Business and enterprise, helping students make meaningful links between classroom learning and real-world scenarios.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Business curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Support the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities, enterprise activities, and extracurricular events.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Business Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Business education.
- Have strong classroom management skills and high expectations for student achievement.
- Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Be enthusiastic about contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking department.
ECTs and experienced Business Teachers are encouraged to apply.
