Education World is recruiting a reliable and motivated School Cleaner for a welcoming primary school in Washington. This is a part-time role supporting the school in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for pupils and staff.
About the Role
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for keeping the school premises clean, safe, and welcoming. You will work as part of a supportive team, ensuring all classrooms, corridors, communal areas, and toilets are hygienic and ready for the next school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard
- Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures at all times
- Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors
- Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience in a school or similar environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of health & safety and hygiene procedures
- Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting a positive school environment
