Education Recruitment Consultant

If you enjoy building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment, and actually making a difference in schools, then this role could be a great fit for you.

At Education World, we’re looking for someone who’s motivated, personable, and keen to grow their career in recruitment. You’ll be working closely with schools across the North East, helping them find great staff while supporting candidates into roles that genuinely suit them.

What you’ll be doing;

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be:

  • Building relationships with schools across the North East
  • Reaching out to new clients through calls, meetings, LinkedIn and your own creative ideas
  • Looking after existing schools and growing those partnerships over time
  • Interviewing and screening candidates to match them to the right roles
  • Providing a high level of service to both schools and candidates
  • Working towards individual targets (with full support from the team)
  • Attending events like recruitment fairs to represent Education World
  • Supporting the wider team with calls and day-to-day enquiries
  • Working closely with compliance, finance and marketing to keep everything running smoothly

What we’re looking for

  • Someone who enjoys talking to people and building relationships
  • Driven and motivated, but also a team player
  • Organised and able to manage a busy workload
  • Previous recruitment or sales experience is a bonus, but not essential

What you’ll get in return

  • £28,000 – £31,000 basic salary
  • Commission up to 20% (no threshold in your first year)
  • 25 days holiday, rising to 30 days with each year service
  • Hybrid working
  • Shorter working days outside of term time
  • Access to tech and bike schemes
  • Team incentives, socials and annual trips
  • NUFC hospitality season ticket
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Health and wellbeing support, including medical and mental health support
  • A genuinely supportive, down-to-earth team environment

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you.
