Education World is working in partnership with a highly respected multi-academy trust in Redbridge to recruit an experienced HR Officer on a permanent basis. The successful HR Officer will play a vital role in supporting HR operations across the trust, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and an exceptional employee experience.

The Role

As an HR Officer, you will:

  • Provide effective day-to-day HR support across multiple schools within the trust.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HR databases.
  • Support safer recruitment and compliance procedures, including pre-employment checks.
  • Advise managers and staff on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with absence management, employee relations, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation as required.
  • Support the delivery of trust-wide HR projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful HR Officer will:

  • Have previous experience working within a HR environment.
  • Hold or be working towards a relevant HR qualification (CIPD desirable).
  • Possess excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Have experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ideally have experience within the education sector, although this is not essential.
