Pay Scale: £140–£220 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role
Education World is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-led primary school in Nottingham City Centre to recruit a strong KS1 Teacher for a long-term position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and committed teacher who has a genuine passion for early years education and understands the importance of strong foundations in Key Stage 1. You will take full responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a structured, nurturing environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
- Create a positive, consistent, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, track, and support pupil progress effectively
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Work closely with teaching assistants and wider staff
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom routines
- Uphold safeguarding and child welfare responsibilities at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in KS1
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A creative, engaging, and structured teaching approach
- Commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
This role would suit an experienced KS1 Teacher or a confident ECT with strong KS1 placements.
