Job Title: Maths Teacher (Alternative Provision)
Location: Bulwell, Nottingham

Pay Scale: £70 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Long Term (Part-Time, 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM)
The Role
Education World is looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Alternative Provision in Bulwell, Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students in KS3–KS4 who have a range of needs, including ADHD, ASD, and challenging behaviour. The role involves planning and marking, delivering engaging Maths lessons, and helping students achieve their potential in a supportive yet structured environment.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone with:

QTS (ideally, but strong unqualified teachers with relevant experience will also be considered)

Strong experience of working with challenging behaviour and SEND
-
A resilient, patient, and nurturing approach to teaching

Ability to plan, deliver, and mark work effectively
-
Commitment to meeting pupils in person and building positive relationships
Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to KS3–KS4 students

Managing behaviour positively and consistently

Planning and marking in line with the curriculum

Supporting the holistic development of pupils with complex needs

Working closely with the school team to ensure progress and engagement
