Primary Teacher – Washington – September Start
Location: Washington, Tyne and Wear
Contract Type: Full-time (September start)
Salary: £130–£160 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity this September? Education World is proud to be working in partnership with several welcoming primary schools in the Washington area who are seeking enthusiastic teachers to join their team on a supply basis.
Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the classroom while benefiting from flexible work arrangements and ongoing support.
The Role:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience and preference).
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Adapt to different school settings with confidence and professionalism.
  • Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Work closely with support staff and SLT to promote pupil progress and wellbeing.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to new environments.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
