About the Role:
Working across different sites of our partner schools, we believe in unlocking potential and changing lives. As an SEN Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of learners with a range of SEN, including those with complex and high needs. You’ll create an inclusive, stimulating, and supportive environment where students can grow in confidence and develop essential life skills.
This role is more than just teaching—it’s about empowering young people to thrive. From delivering Functional Skills and tailoring person-centred curricula to preparing learners for adulthood, you’ll help every student take meaningful steps towards independence and success.
What You’ll Do
Inspire and Engage – Deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
Support & Motivate – Guide students through their learning journey, ensuring they stay on track.
Assess & Develop – Monitor progress, mark work, and provide constructive feedback.
Behaviour Management – Implement strategies that promote positive engagement and personal growth.
Collaborate & Innovate – Work closely with a fantastic team of teaching and support staff to create an outstanding learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher with a Level 5 (or above) qualification, ideally with an LDD specialism.
Experience in (or a willingness to learn about) delivering Functional Skills and a Life Skills curriculum.
A deep understanding of the Preparing for Adulthood framework and a commitment to person-centred learning.
A creative, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and behaviour management.
