SENDCo – Maternity Cover (Part-Time)

Working Pattern: 3 days per week (flexible on days)
Pay Scale: £190-250 per day

The Role
We are urgently seeking an experienced SENDCo to join a welcoming and supportive school on a long-term maternity cover basis. This is a non-class-based role, working three days per week, with flexibility around which days are worked.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading SEND provision across the school, ensuring pupils with additional needs receive the support they require to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee SEND provision across the school
- Manage and review EHCPs and SEND support plans
- Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies
- Support staff with SEND strategies and best practice
- Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and guidance
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified and experienced SENDCo (NASENCo essential)
- Strong knowledge of SEND processes, EHCPs, and statutory requirements
- Confident communicator with parents and professionals
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
- Available for a long-term maternity cover commitment
