Due to continued growth and a strong commitment to Modern Foreign Languages, the school is seeking enthusiastic educators who can inspire students to develop confidence and fluency in Spanish while fostering an appreciation for different cultures and global perspectives.

The Role

As a Spanish Teacher, you will:

  • Teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons that inspire a love of languages.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
  • Support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities that promote language learning and cultural awareness.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Spanish Teacher will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Spanish at secondary level.
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
  • Have strong classroom management skills and high expectations for student achievement.
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where all learners can thrive.
  • Be enthusiastic about contributing to a collaborative and successful MFL department.
