Innovative Computer Science Teachers Wanted – Opportunities Across the UK
Key Stage 3–4 | Secondary Schools in London, Birmingham, Norfolk, Yorkshire, and Northamptonshire

Are you a tech-savvy Computer Science teacher who’s passionate about preparing students for the digital world? Education World is seeking outstanding Computer Science teachers to join forward-thinking secondary schools across the UK – including in London Birmingham, Norfolk, Yorkshire, and Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Computer Science lessons to students aged 11–16.

  • Develop schemes of work in line with the national curriculum, covering key areas such as programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, and computational thinking.

  • Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and support students in achieving academic success.

  • Foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and innovation in your classroom.

  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular clubs (e.g., coding clubs, robotics competitions) and events.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and develop best practices in teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

  • A degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related subject.

  • Experience teaching Computer Science in UK secondary schools.

  • Excellent subject knowledge and a desire to stay current with evolving technologies.

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  • A passion for helping students navigate and thrive in the digital age.
