Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students aged 11–16.

Create engaging schemes of work aligned with the national curriculum that encourage critical thinking and global awareness.

Assess, track, and report on student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.

Foster a classroom environment where every student feels safe, challenged, and inspired to explore the world around them.

Enrich the curriculum through fieldwork, trips, and geography-based clubs or activities.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop cross-curricular links.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A degree in Geography or a related field.

Experience teaching Geography in UK secondary schools.

Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to continual professional development.

Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

A passion for environmental issues, sustainability, and global learning.
