We are seeking a passionate and innovative Design Technology Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Greenwich from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire creativity, practical problem-solving, and technical skills within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The school is a well-established secondary setting serving a diverse local community and is recognised for its strong academic standards, inclusive ethos, and commitment to providing a broad and engaging curriculum. Creativity and innovation are at the heart of the school's vision, with students encouraged to think independently, develop practical skills, and apply their learning to real-world challenges. Staff benefit from a collaborative culture, excellent leadership, and a strong commitment to professional development and wellbeing.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching resources and contribute to the continued success of the department.
  • Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities where appropriate.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.

Essential Criteria

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or expected to achieve QTS by September 2026 – essential.

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for practical learning.
