Level 3 Nursery Nurse – Join a Growing Nursery in Low Fell with Education World

Salary: £13 per hour

Education World is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a client Nursery, a well-established and welcoming nursery in Low Fell, rated Good by Ofsted. The nursery has been a valued part of the local community for over 20 years and is now expanding its team due to continued growth.

We are looking for two enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Nurses who are passionate about early years education and enjoy working in a fun, supportive environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, and thrive.

 

About the Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting children’s early learning and development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. Staff initially work across different rooms to gain experience with various age groups before settling into the area that best suits their strengths and interests.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through engaging activities and play-based learning
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children
  • Build strong relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
  • Observe and support children’s individual development and interests
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care and education

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
  • A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
  • Someone who enjoys being hands-on and engaging with children
  • Experience in a nursery setting is preferred but not essential

The nursery places great importance on how candidates interact with children, so enthusiasm, warmth, and a caring nature are key qualities for this role.

 

Hours Available

  • 1 position: 40 hours per week
  • 1 position: 30 hours per week

The nursery operates 7:30am – 6:00pm and offers flexible working patterns. Staff can work traditional daily hours or longer shifts across 3–4 days, depending on preference.
