The Role

We are partnering with a thriving Buckinghamshire secondary school to appoint an inspiring English specialist who can:

  • deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons across KS3–KS5

  • raise achievement and instil a lifelong love of literature and language

  • contribute to curriculum design, enrichment and whole‑school literacy initiatives

  • progress—if suitably experienced—to Head of Department within a supportive leadership structure

What We’re Looking For

Essential/Desirable:
UK QTS (or pending)
English degree
Proven record of outstanding GCSE/A‑level outcomes
Robust subject knowledge & genuine passion
Experience mentoring ECTs or trainees
Inclusive, evidence‑based classroom practice
Excellent communication & organisation
Ability to lead curriculum innovation

Early Career Teachers and experienced colleagues are equally welcome; bespoke CPD is provided.
