GCSE Tutor – Liverpool x4 (In-Person)
We are seeking dedicated and experienced GCSE Tutors to provide high-quality, in-person tuition across Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate educators who are committed to supporting students in achieving their full potential through tailored, one-to-one and small group sessions.
As a GCSE Tutor, you will deliver engaging and personalised tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, and/or Science) to students preparing for their GCSE examinations. The successful GCSE Tutor must be confident travelling across Liverpool to deliver face-to-face sessions and adaptable in meeting the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored sessions as a GCSE Tutor in core subjects up to GCSE level.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- As a GCSE Tutor, support students in building confidence, subject knowledge, and exam technique.
- Provide clear feedback to students and, where appropriate, parents or carers.
- Support students with varying abilities, including those with additional needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sessions and student progress.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Proven experience working as a GCSE Tutor or supporting students in core subjects up to GCSE level – essential.
- The ability to commute across Liverpool for in-person tutoring sessions – essential.
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
- QTS preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND needs – preferred but not essential.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
