Nursery Nurse x2 – Haringey
We are currently seeking two caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to join welcoming and well-established nurseries across Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated early years practitioners who are passionate about supporting young children’s development and helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
As a Nursery Nurse, you will work closely with the nursery team to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn through play and exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily routines and activities as a Nursery Nurse, ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for all children.
- Plan and deliver play-based learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Provide high-quality care and supervision, supporting children’s wellbeing and development.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development, promoting confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children’s learning and day-to-day routines.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, supporting effective communication.
- Observe and monitor children’s progress, contributing to assessments and records.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements are always followed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3).
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
