Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Qualification: CACHE Level 2 or 3
Hours: 2-3 days per week (Monday confirmed, with an additional day Wednesday-Friday which could end up as 2 additional)
Start Date: 13th October
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Northumberland school on a part-time basis in KS2. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs and disabilities
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans
- Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
- Potential for 1:1 support, depending on experience
Requirements:
- CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Experience working with SEND students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting diverse learners
