Job Title: School Cook
Location: Ashington
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 1:45pm (18.75 hours per week)
Start Date: Immediate start available
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic School Cook to join a friendly primary school near Ashington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing nutritious meals in a rewarding school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving healthy, balanced meals for pupils
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Managing food stock and adhering to portion control guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar cooking or catering role
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A fully enhanced DBS on the update service (essential)
