Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced secondary Teacher to join a thriving SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Provision in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education across different subjects to students with diverse needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Plan and implement activities that inspire and motivate our young learners
- Work effectively with a diverse range of students across all key stages
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Excellent knowledge of the current curriculum across all key stages
- Experience in working with learners with complex needs (advantageous)
- Strong behavior management skills in an SEMH setting (preferred)
- Passion for helping students achieve their full potential
