Are you a dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? We're currently seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Teacher to join a specialist provision in Sunderland that supports children and young people with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

The Role:
As an SEND Teacher, you will:
- Deliver tailored lessons that meet a range of learning needs
- Support students on EHCPs in both academic and emotional development
- Adapt resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEND team
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and supported
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS or QTLS (Essential)
- Experience working with SEND pupils, either in a mainstream or specialist setting
- Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for SEND
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A calm, nurturing, and patient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
