Are you a passionate History teacher with a talent for bringing the past to life? Education World is seeking outstanding History teachers to join high-performing secondary schools across the UK – including in London, Birmingham, Norfolk, Yorkshire, and Northamptonshire.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging History lessons to students aged 11–16, in line with the national curriculum.

Develop schemes of work that promote historical enquiry, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

Monitor and assess student progress to drive strong academic outcomes.

Create a classroom culture that values curiosity, debate, and inclusive discussion.

Organise or support enriching activities such as history-themed trips, workshops, and school events.

Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and continually improve teaching practice.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A degree in History or a related subject.

Experience teaching History at the secondary level in the UK.

Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to evidence-informed practice.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

A genuine passion for making History relevant, engaging, and meaningful for students.
