Are you a passionate, creative and experienced Early Years Practitioner looking for a rewarding role in a nurturing and inspiring school?
We are working on behalf of a welcoming and well-established primary school in Ponteland to recruit a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children aged 9 months to 5 years in a supportive and engaging environment.
This role offers an average of 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase up to around 40 hours for candidates seeking additional hours. Working patterns are flexible and can be tailored to suit you, with options to work fewer longer days or more shorter days. Shifts are scheduled on a rota basis between 7:30am and 6:00pm, across a year-round contract (excluding two weeks at Christmas).
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Support children aged 9 months to 5 years in their learning and development
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children
- Deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and families
- Contribute to positive outcomes for children through continuous professional development
