We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school nursery setting in Wideopen. This is a full-time, term-time-only role, working five days per week.

The position involves working with babies from 9 months old up to children aged 3 years, supporting their care, learning, and development within a structured school nursery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality care and supervision for babies and young children
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
  • Supporting children’s communication, social, and emotional development
  • Observing and monitoring children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently followed
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider nursery team

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Experience working with children aged 0–3 years
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
