We are currently working on behalf of a valued London-based junior school to recruit a Learning Support Assistant with strong SEN experience. The school is seeking a high-quality candidate after not yet securing the right fit for this role.
The Role
- Position: Learning Support Assistant
- Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Start Date & Duration: ASAP start, running until the end of the academic year
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an LSA with strong experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs. You should be confident working 1:1 and/or within small groups and able to adapt support strategies to meet a range of learning needs.
You will ideally have:
- Proven SEN support experience
- Confidence adapting communication and learning strategies
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
