Pay Scale: £12.00 – £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, long-term with potential to go permanent

The Role

Education World are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Doncaster. You will be working across the nursery rooms, supporting babies, toddlers and pre-school children, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

You will be part of a supportive team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week), working shifts between core nursery hours (e.g. 8:00am–6:00pm) on a rota basis.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, Early Years Educator or equivalent)

  • Has recent experience working in a nursery, preschool or early years setting

  • Understands the EYFS framework and can support planning, observation and assessment

  • Is confident building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

  • Demonstrates a warm, caring and patient approach

  • Is reliable, flexible and able to commit to a full-time 40-hour week

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS

  • Contributing to observations, learning journeys and next steps for key children

  • Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing at all times

  • Working collaboratively with the staff team to maintain a positive, inclusive environment

  • Building strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on children’s progress

  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, hygiene and behaviour in line with setting policies
