Level 3 or experienced Nursery Practitioner
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the staff team at a wonderful ‘home from home’ nursery in the heart of Sheffield. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join the team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong Knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding. The role involves working with children from 6 months - 5 years, following the nursery ethos, maintaining Ofsted standards and requirements and ensuring that high standards of care, education, and safety are maintained.

Purpose of Post:
· To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting.
· To give support to their staff within the setting.
· To work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
· To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.
· To have a strong knowledge of EYFS requirements.
Key Skills:
· Communication Skill – Good interpersonal skills to deal with parents, outside agencies etc
· Knowledge of the EYFS – understanding of the framework guidelines
· Team player – willing to take on the views of others and sharing ideas and jobs

Experience:
· Experience in early years – experience working in a childcare setting or early years setting
Qualifications:
· Level 3 qualification in chilcare – (equivalent or higher)
Other requirements:
· Enhanced DBS check – for working with children on the update service.
Expected hours:
3 days, 10 hours per day, 30 hours per week
4 days, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
