Job Advertisement: PPA Teacher (Full Time)
Location: Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full Time

A large, welcoming and inclusive primary school in Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne, is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join their team!

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is keen to broaden their experience and develop confidence teaching across the full primary age range. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons to cover Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across all year groups in primary
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and phase leaders
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism and a commitment to high standards
  • Be keen to develop their practice across different key stages

This role is ideal for early career teachers looking to build breadth of experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking a varied and rewarding position within a supportive setting.
