We are currently recruiting Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support children across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 in a small primary school in Northumberland. The Role:
- Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with moderate learning difficulties and dysregulated behaviour.
- Assist class teachers in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive learning sessions.
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
You Will Need:
- Experience with SEN pupils in a learning environment
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
- A caring, resilient and proactive approach.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A commitment to fulfilling a long term role.
