We are currently working on behalf of a valued Northumberland-based primary school to recruit for a KS2 Teacher (Year 3–5), with the potential for whole-school cover and middle leadership responsibilities for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Position: Year 3–5 Class Teacher (potential whole-school cover)
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Start Date & Duration: January 2025, for up to 18 months (or temp-to-perm depending on school needs

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a committed and adaptable KS2 practitioner who can make a positive impact from day one.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven KS2 teaching experience
  • Confidence delivering high-quality learning across Year 3–5
  • Willingness to contribute to middle leadership (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
