Are you an inspiring Modern Foreign Languages teacher with a passion for unlocking a love of language and culture in young people? Education World is seeking outstanding MFL teachers to join thriving secondary schools across the UK – including London, Birmingham, Norfolk, Yorkshire, and Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative MFL lessons to students aged 11–16 (and potentially up to KS5).

  • Teach French, Spanish or German (depending on your specialism), following the British national curriculum.

  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress to ensure high levels of achievement.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and challenged.

  • Contribute to school life through extracurricular activities, language clubs, and cultural events.

  • Work collaboratively with other staff to develop and share effective teaching strategies and resources.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

  • A degree in a relevant language or linguistics discipline.

  • Experience teaching MFL in a UK secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and awareness of current pedagogical approaches in language learning.

  • Excellent communication skills and effective classroom management.

  • A genuine passion for languages and for inspiring students to develop global perspectives.
